National Organization for Atheists Opens Sudbury Branch, Announces Sudbury Atheist Bus Ad Campaign

SUDBURY, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 9, 2014) - Centre for Inquiry, Canada's leading voice for atheists, humanists and skeptics, will launch CFI Sudbury on Monday, January 13 in conjunction with a month-long Sudbury atheist bus advertisement campaign: "Don't Believe in God? You're Not Alone."

CFI Canada founder Justin Trottier and Sudbury branch leader Spencer Lucas will hold a press conference January 13 at 2:00PM in the foyer of Tom Davies Civic Square to announce goals and answer questions.

"Though a life long atheist, I'm fascinated by what others believe," said Spencer. "With the effort of our volunteers, supported by a robust national organization, we'll grow our local community and engage in meaningful discussion with those of different worldviews."

A public inaugural event will be held January 13, 6:30PM at the Living With Lakes Centre, Laurentian University, 935 Ramsey Lake Rd. Trottier will survey the organization's achievements and programs, with emphasis on its campaign to defund the Catholic school system.
