Nucleus Medical Media Unveils Scientific Animations for the Classroom

Nucleus to Attend the Georgia Educational Technology Conference

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - November 05, 2014) - Nucleus Medical Media announced they would be attending this year's Georgia Educational Technology Conference (GAETC) to demonstrate a prototype of their new scientific animations for schools.

Nucleus is collaborating with Skubes, an Atlanta-based e-learning provider that specializes in educational video production, to create new scientific education content. The animated videos -- still in development -- are being created primarily for high school science classes. While Nucleus specializes in medicine and healthcare, the topics in the videos will cover a broader range of study, including life science, physical science, earth science and more.

"Videos give educators a way to use technology in the flipped classroom model," said Ron Collins, Nucleus Co-founder and CEO. "Nucleus wants to be the leading developer of animations for K-12 science." The flipped classroom model involves students watching video lectures at home, and doing "homework" in the classroom with guidance from teachers.

GAETC brings together over 3,000 educators from around the state to learn about technological advances in the classroom. Nucleus's goal this week is to gather feedback from principals and teachers regarding the viability of animated videos in the classroom. GAETC is being held November 5-7 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta.
