Nucleus Medical Media Reaches 200 Million Views on YouTube

Hospitals Use Nucleus's 3D Animations to Boost Traffic, Engagement on Their Websites

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - March 12, 2015) - Nucleus Medical Media, a leading creator of medical animations and illustrations for healthcare marketing, recently surpassed 200 million combined views on its YouTube channel. At the time of publication, the Nucleus YouTube channel was ranked #1,622 for total views, out of YouTube's 1 billion users.

The Nucleus YouTube channel currently features 370 health animations, including childbirth, oncology, cardiology, and other popular health topics. The channel has been a success since going live in 2007, and has recently reached several other notable milestones. In January 2014 Nucleus was awarded Google's Silver Play Button after reaching 100 thousand YouTube subscribers. Less than a year later the channel had doubled that number to 200 thousand subscribers.

Similar YouTube channels don't experience viewership on the same scale as Nucleus. For example, the Mayo Clinic's YouTube channel has 19.5 million total views, the CDC has 41 million views, and Dr. Oz has 9.6 million views. Nucleus attributes their YouTube channel's success to the quality of the content, the popularity of 3D animation, and the weekly release schedule of new videos.
