NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - May 4, 2015) - Park IP Translations, a Welocalize company and leader in legal language services, continues to prepare clients filing Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications for National Phase entry in 2015 with an immediate call to send in instructions early to ensure adequate time and resources are available to meet the looming spike in filings coming due September 15, 2015.
Park IP Translations is advising clients, both corporate counsel and law firms, to start sending reminders in May and to finalize all application filing plans and instructions over the next 30-60 days. The increase in demand is due to an anticipated aftershock resulting from changes made in the America Invents Act (AIA) in March 2013. This aftershock will create an increase in demand for translation for PCT applications, expected to peak on the September 15, 2015 deadline. This demand is forecasted to put a strain on legal translation resources. Over 9,000 applications are due for filing in September alone, before this deadline.
