Pri-Med South Named to Trade Show Executive's "Fastest 50" List

CME Conference for Primary Care Physicians Ranks High in All Three Key Growth Indicators

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - June 02, 2015) - Pri-Med, a trusted source for professional medical education to over 260,000 clinicians since 1995, today announced that Pri-Med South, an annual national conference held in Fort, Lauderdale, FL, was named to Trade Show Executive's 2014 "Fastest 50" List.

Trade Show Executive identifies the 50 fastest growing conferences based on multiple metrics. Pri-Med South was one of just a handful of shows to earn a ranking in each of the three key growth indicators, which included net square feet (NSF) of exhibit space, number of exhibiting companies, and total attendance.

Pri-Med South also attained the following metrics in 2015: Pri-Med Research Team - Attendee Satisfaction Survey

  • Third consecutive year of 4,000+ clinicians in attendance (50 percent with MD/DO degrees)
  • 92 percent of attendees were satisfied with the event, an increase of 4 percent from 2014
  • 93 percent of attendees were satisfied with the overall curriculum
  • 92 percent of attendees reported visiting the exhibit hall

"We are honored that Pri-Med South was recognized as one of the 50 fastest growing conferences in the nation," said Steve Varraso, senior vice president, Program Development & Strategy, Pri-Med/DBC LLC. "Pri-Med South is one of our largest programs, so it's an exciting place to introduce new curriculum enhancements and provide clinicians with the opportunity to interact with some of the most progressive healthcare companies focused on primary care."

"I go to Pri-Med South every year to learn from specialist speakers with quality materials," said a Pri-Med South clinician. "Pri-Med South helps me stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based guidelines and other new information in my field of practice."

The theme of Pri-Med South 2015, Good Health Begins Here, gave clinicians the opportunity to learn new tips for improving the health and wellness of their patient populations. For instance, subsidized Fitbit tracker devices were distributed to attendees to generate awareness of how wearable devices align with health and wellness.
Additional enhancements to better serve clinicians and supporters at Pri-Med 2015 included: a paperless evaluation process, allowing for near-instant certificate processing, and providing new state-mandated sessions to help clinicians satisfy annual learning requirements.
