Intersil Corporation Opens New Design Center in Hyderabad, India

MILPITAS, CA --September 17, 2007 - Intersil Corporation (NASDAQ: ISIL), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog solutions, today announced the opening of a new design center in Hyderabad, India staffed with experienced semiconductor designers. The new design center will augment ongoing product development efforts at the Bangalore design center and further expand Intersil's presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
