10 Weeks of Recess on the Bruce Trail

Outdoor Company KEEN Canada Hosts 10 Weeks of Recess on the Bruce Trail in Support of Land Acquisitions and Land Preservation

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 7, 2012) - In support of the Bruce Trail Conservancy, outdoor company KEEN Canada is hosting a "10 Weeks of Recess" challenge. The program inspires people to play in the outdoors, to be creative and to care for the environment around them. Participants will strive to complete 10 Weeks of Recess & submit 10 photos to generate a $100 donation to the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

Starting August 6th, KEEN Canada will reveal 1 new recess activity on their website every Monday for 10 weeks. Participants are asked to step up to the creative challenge & submit their photos of the recess activity each week. For every person to complete the 10 week challenge, $100 will be donated to the Bruce Trail Conservancy for a total of $25,000.

The Bruce Trail is Canada's oldest & longest footpath providing continuous access to the Niagara Escarpment. Over the past half century, the Bruce Trail has gained a steady following of volunteers and hikers. Their efforts exceed 63 full time jobs & contribute $3 million in volunteer labour. KEEN Canada's $25,000 donation will go towards land acquisitions and land preservation programs on the Bruce Trail.

Online submissions are being accepted until October 15th, 2012. KEEN Canada encourages your participation for a fun way to give back to the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
