11th Removal of a "Wanted by the CBSA" Individual


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 6, 2012) - The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the removal of Christa Kozonguizi, who was featured on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list. Kozonguizi was removed from Canada on February 2, 2012.

Kozonguizi is the 11th individual from the "Wanted by the CBSA" list to be removed. She turned herself in to the CBSA at the Greater Toronto Enforcement Centre on January 18, 2012. Kozonguizi is inadmissible to Canada on security grounds.

To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 20 individuals in Canada and four individuals abroad. As of today, the CBSA has removed 11 of these individuals from Canada.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Line at 1-888-502-9060.
