$1.2 Million The Pick(TM) Winning Jackpot Claimed


PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Mar 10, 2015) - The Arizona Lottery announces that the $1.2 million The Pick jackpot from the drawing on Wednesday, March 4, has been claimed.

The winner purchased a Quick Pick® ticket from the Salome Shopping Center located at 67230 Highway 60 in Salome, AZ.

"We are so happy to award an Arizona resident with a check," said Karen Bach, director of products and communications. "I'm thrilled for the winner and this life-changing prize!"

The winner chose the $821,917.80 cash option before taxes, and says the immediate family has been informed and the money is going to be invested.

The Pick offers many appealing features to players, including four ways to win a cash prize and the option to play numbers for up to ten consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. The starting jackpot is $1 million, and the second prize for matching five of six numbers is $2,000.

The next The Pick drawing is tomorrow night for an estimated $1 million jackpot. Tickets can be purchased at any Arizona Lottery retailer.

Players must be 21 years or older to purchase or redeem tickets. Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize at an Arizona Lottery office or by mail. Overall odds vary by game.
