$1.2 Million The Pick™ Winning Ticket Adds to Major Prize Money Won in the First Few Months of 2015

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Mar 5, 2015) - March is kicking off to a promising start with a $1.2 million The Pick™ jackpot winning ticket sold at Salome Shopping Center located at 67230 Highway 60 in Salome, AZ. The winning numbers for the drawing held Wednesday, March 4, were 04-09-17-25-26-29. The winning ticket matched six out of six numbers.

Arizona players received significant payouts in January and February of 2015 with $13 million in winnings. The prize amounts vary and were divided among seven jackpot and top prize winner winning tickets.

Included in the $13 million number are 5 second prize winning tickets, each worth $1 million or more.

"We are thrilled to have so many winners so far in 2015," said Karen Bach, director of products and communications for the Arizona Lottery. "Winner excitement drives ticket sales, which helps to generate essential funding for state programs."

Lottery beneficiaries received more than $14.9 million in net funding during January 2015. Arizona Lottery retailers, big and small, also earned more than $9.6 million in commissions so far this calendar year from the sale of Lottery tickets.
