Record Number of Impressions Represents 50 Percent Increase From Previous Record Set Last Year

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - December 5, 2007) - VeriSign, Inc. Seventy-nine percent of U.S. online shoppers are familiar with the VeriSign Secured Seal, more than any other mark.(1) The VeriSign Secured Seal signals that a Web site is using an authentic VeriSign Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate. More than 93 percent of the Fortune 500 -- and the world's 40 largest banks -- rely on some form of VeriSign SSL Certificate to meet their security needs. The VeriSign Secured Seal has been tested and proven to increase transactions by approximately 10 percent.(2) Learn more about the VeriSign Secured Seal at:
