15th Annual AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global Raises $129,000 for National Center for Responsible Gaming

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Jun 13, 2013) - The 15th annual AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global continued to attract a high level of demand from players and sponsors, who came together to raise a generous $129,000 in support the research of the National Center for Responsible Gaming.

The event, held April 30 on the award-winning greens of Cascata in Boulder City, Nevada, drew 140 players from across all facets of the industry -- suppliers, operators and test labs. More than 30 companies participated as sponsors.

"We are incredibly grateful to the industry for this outpouring of support. Thanks to our generous sponsors and players, we can continue to fund a portion of the NCRG's important research. The fact is more work lies ahead, and we encourage everyone across the industry to continue to be involved and support the NCRG, not just at this event, but year-round," said event producer Tom Nieman of JCM Global.

The Golf Classic title sponsors are the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) and the American Gaming Association (AGA). The event is presented by JCM Global and benefits the NCRG, the only national nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research on gambling disorders and increasing awareness about responsible gaming.

Other sponsors included Ainsworth Game Technology, Aristocrat Technologies, Bally Technologies, Caesars Entertainment, Casino Enterprise Management Magazine, Gaming Partners International, Gaming Laboratories International, G2E/Reed Exhibitions, Hikam America Inc., KICTeam, Konami Gaming Inc., MEI Group, Nanoptix Inc., Patriot Gaming & Electronics Inc., Samsung and Suzo-Happ.

Over the past 15 years, the AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global has raised more than $1.2 million in support of the NCRG.
