This year's event is still looking for some help from local companies to make it a success including individual or corporate hole sponsorship. Prize and cash donations are also being accepted to be part of the silent and live auction that will take place immediately following the tournament.

Paul DeKyser, director of the tournament, is expecting this year's tournament to be a huge success in raising money for a great cause. DeKyser said, "Jack West was a great man and a great friend to many. This tournament gives us all a chance to gather together and celebrate his life while raising money to help out student athletes further their academic careers."

Jack West was born on May 24, 1968 and tragically taken from us on June 11, 1997. He attended Kansas City Kansas Community College where he excelled in the classroom as well as on the soccer field and tennis court. After college he pursued his passion for cooking while working at The Station Casino under Jim Tinkham. He is dearly missed by his family and friends.
