The 18th Annual Fall Detroit Camper & RV Show Is Coming to the Rock Financial Showplace

NOVI, MI--(Marketwire - September 5, 2007) - The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles
and Campgrounds (MARVAC) is sponsoring the 18th Annual Fall Detroit Camper
& RV Show, October 3-7, 2007, at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi,
Mich. (on Grand River, one mile west of Novi Road). 2008 recreation
vehicles will be on display including folding campers, motor homes, travel
trailers, truck campers, park models and fifth wheel travel trailers.
Display models range in price from $5,000 to more than $400,000. Special
closeout pricing will be offered on 2007 models. An expanded outdoor sales
area will include new RVs. Booths featuring parts and accessories,
campground information, RV financing and RV rentals will be set up at the
show to make this the complete RV show experience.
The new, 2008 "RV & Campsite," a guide to camping in Michigan, will be
available free to show visitors. Consumers can visit www.marvac.org to
print a 2-for-1 admittance coupon and register to win free tickets to the
show, compliments of Big Boy. Also, take advantage of the exciting
opportunity to see award-winning author and active RVer Carol White as she
presents "The Secrets to Planning Your Dream Trip" on Saturday, October 6
at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., and Sunday, October 7 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. John
Holod, award-winning filmmaker and RVer, will show exciting RV adventure
films throughout the show as well.
The 18th Annual Fall Detroit Camper & RV Show will be held at the Rock
Financial Showplace October 3-7, and is open weekdays 2-9 p.m., Saturday 10
a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday Noon-6 p.m. The cost for adult admission (ages 13
and up) is $8; children ages 12 and under are admitted free! Seniors (ages
55 and over) are admitted for just $5 on Wednesday, October 3, and
Thursday, October 4 (no coupon necessary).
The show is sponsored by the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles
and Campgrounds (MARVAC), a member organization representing all aspects of
the camping and RV industries.
