2011 Business Growth Conference Brings Together Orange County's Business Leaders and Hosts Local Networking Session

The Harvard Business School Association of Orange County (HBSAOC) Recently Partnered With the USC Marshall School of Business and the USC Marshall Alumni Association to Host the 2011 Business Growth Conference on May 9 in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - April 1, 2011) - For over a century, Harvard Business School's (HBS) national and international missions have been to "educate leaders who make a difference in the world." For over a quarter of a century, the HBS Association of Orange County (HBSAOC) has made the mission local to Southern California, by extending that knowledge to their professional peers who look to take their businesses to the next level, via the annual Business Growth Conference. The 2011 Business Growth Conference is truly the best place to network with the leaders of Southern California, learn new ideas to take your business to the next level, and even help make the world a better place. In 2010, HBSAOC chose to partner with the USC-Marshall School of Business, also a global leader in business education, and with the USC Marshall Alumni Association of Orange County to make a quantum leap to host over 1,000 attendees, with deeper and richer content than ever before. This year's conference will feature four keynote speakers as opposed to the traditional two keynotes.

This year's BGC keynote speakers are:

1. Warren Bennis (morning keynote) is founding chairman of USC's Leadership Institute, distinguished professor of business administration at the USC Marshall School of Business and advisory board chairman of the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard's Kennedy School. One of the world's foremost experts on leadership, Dr. Bennis is a Pulitzer Prize nominated author of 30 books and numerous articles on leadership, change and creative collaboration.

2. Henrik Fisker of Fisker Automotive (luncheon keynote). Mr. Fisker will share his personal innovative journey in one of our nation's most challenging industries, as he looks to lead the next automotive revolution, in Orange County, far removed from Detroit and Tokyo.

3. James F. ("Jim") Rothenberg of the Capital Group (evening keynote). The BGC is thrilled to announce our first-ever investment track for attendees, whether investment professionals or those looking to beat the market, and Mr. Rothenberg's insight, from leading the Capital Group, one (1) of the world's largest mutual fund families, will be invaluable.

4. Mark Wetterau, Chairman & CEO of Golden State Foods (morning keynote). Mr. Wetterau will share how he established a company credo, utilizing the power of unified ethics and values within his corporate culture to develop a multi-billion dollar business.

On May 9, 2011, join the 1,000+ attendees, for these four (4) outstanding keynote speakers, about two (2) dozen cutting-edge panels, and almost infinite networking opportunities.
