2011 Road Construction Safety Campaign Focuses On Workers And Motorists

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 24, 2011) - Media are invited to join the Honourable Luke Ouellette, Minister of Transportation, the Honourable Thomas Lukaszuk, Minister of Employment and Immigration, and the Partners in Road Construction Safety (a group of provincial and municipal governments, industry, and safety organizations) - for our annual launch to kick-off the 2011 road construction season.

The Partners will be unveiling their new campaign elements. Other speakers at the kick-off will include Partners in Road Construction Safety representatives.

  • From downtown head west on Jasper Avenue
  • Turn left (south) onto 107 Street
  • Turn west and go through the northeast gate
  • Go around the back (south) side of the Legislature Building
  • Look for our white event tent and the road construction equipment on the west side of the Legislature Building
  • Parking is available along the road
