2011 Southeast Venture Conference Set for Capacity Crowd in Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - February 25, 2011) -  The 5th annual Southeast Venture Conference (SEVC), March 2-3rd at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta, is set to be another sold out event.

The Southeast Venture Conference will showcase over 50 high growth companies from the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. The presenting entrepreneurs will address a national and regional audience of several hundred venture capitalists, private equity professionals, technology executives and support community members. SEVC investor attendees represent over $80 billion in investment capital.

Showcase companies represent a variety of technology industries and range from successful Pre-IPO later stage firms to high growth startups. Represented industries include green tech, medical device, ecommerce, online and mobile among others.

In addition to featuring some of the most promising new high growth technology firms in the region, the SEVC will feature dozens of prominent speakers such as the CEO of the Atlanta Federal Reserve, Dennis Lockhart; CEO, Marc Cendella; Red Hat and founder Bob Young; President of the National Venture Capital Association, Mark Heesen; Atlanta Falcons General Manager, Thomas Dimitroff and dozens of top private equity executives, CEOs and industry experts.
