2012 AEE, ANE, AVN Awards at Palms Resort Casino January 18-21

2012 Marks the Beginning of a New Vision for the Venerable Trade and Consumer Event That Has Set the Standard for Adult Conventions

CHATSWORTH, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 17, 2011) - AVN Media Network is pleased to announce that the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo is getting a fresh new venue that will unite the three biggest events on the adult industry circuit under one roof, all taking place over four exciting days.

The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) (, AVN Novelty Expo (ANE) ( and the AVN Awards will be January 18-21 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. AEE will run January 18-21, ANE will take place January 18-20 and the must-attend AVN Awards will be Saturday, January 21 in the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms.

"After having hosted the AVN Awards for the past two years, the Palms is excited to help AVN take the Adult Entertainment Expo and the Adult Novelty Expo in a new direction," said George J. Maloof, Jr., chairman of the Palms Resort Casino. "Our world-class facilities and professional staff will make the January shows a great success."

The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo is a one-of-a-kind tradeshow experience that over its history has set the standard for adult conventions. It combines business-to-business transactions, networking, knowledge-sharing, talent appearances, and special presentations for the public. The largest event of its kind, AEE showcases the most comprehensive collection of adult talent, exhibitors, and products, which attracts buyers and fans from around the world.

The change marks a new vision for AEE. Attendees and exhibitors of AEE will experience something unique in 2012. Based on exhibitor and attendee feedback, for instance, AEE will not run concurrent with CES, which will minimize travel expenses and maximize networking opportunities for exhibitors. The events will still overlap with other consumer shows in Las Vegas, including SHOT Show, an annual shooting and hunter show that brings more than 50,000 people into the city. (AEE is not affiliated with SHOT Show.)

"The Palms has been a fantastic venue for us," said AVN founder Paul Fishbein. "The intimacy of the space and the helpfulness and enthusiasm of the management and staff guarantee that our exhibitors and attendees will have a superior environment in which to do business."
