PRESCOTT, AZ--(Marketwired - Feb 6, 2014) - As testament to Arizona's improving residential real estate market, Talking Rock announces a banner year for sales. The private luxury home community located in Prescott, Ariz. experienced a nearly 80 percent increase in the number of homes and homesites sold compared to the previous year.
2012 marked the start of change at Talking Rock and 2013 continued to build on that momentum. Last year, Talking Rock reported 56 sales under contract, with 55 of those closing before year-end. This included 39 homesites and 16 homes. These sales represented a nearly 15 percent increase in custom home pricing, which now range from $400,000 to $1.8 million, and a 70 percent increase in homesite pricing, which range from $60,000 to $250,000.
In addition to improving sales, Talking Rock experienced a number of exciting changes last year including the introduction of Cooper Ranch Homes, a custom home product priced from the low-$500s, and Ranch Cottages, semi-custom homes priced from the mid-$400s. The community also announced a new development ownership structure at the end of 2013, with The True Life Companies (TTLC) joining Harvard Investments as developers of Talking Rock.
