2014 Florida Gaming Congress Approved for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credits

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 21, 2014) - The 2014 Florida Gaming Congress, which takes place November 10 - 11 at the Hyatt Regency Miami, has been approved for 5.5 Continuing Legal Education Credits ("CLE") by The Florida Bar, underscoring its importance as a must-attend event for attorneys and all gaming-related professionals.

"As the Florida Gaming Congress continues to grow in stature, importance, and a longer historical timeframe, it becomes something that lawyers who practice gaming law want to be more associated with," said former Florida Senate Democratic leader Steve Geller, chair of the Gaming Law Practice Group at Greenspoon Marder Law. "It is an important step to now award Continuing Legal Education credits, both because it encourages more lawyers to attend, and because it is an additional recognition of the high quality of the program."

The two-day event begins on Monday, November 10, with an evening welcome reception. The following day delivers a full-day of in-depth seminars dedicated to presenting multiple viewpoints, ideas and concerns, along with several networking opportunities. The Florida Gaming Congress annually attracts a high-quality audience of more than 200, including corporate executives, gaming operators, elected officials, regulators, vendors, developers, investors and analysts, as well as a healthy media contingent.

Twenty-nine experts with wide perspectives on the future of gaming in Florida are confirmed to speak at the event, participating in five insightful panels that will examine the critical issues facing Florida as it considers further gaming expansion:
