2014 Investissement Quebec CEO of the Year Award: Call for Nominations

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 22, 2013) - The Quebec Technology Association (AQT) is proud to launch the 11^th edition of the Investissement Québec CEO of the Year Award contest. Organized in conjunction with Investissement Québec, this prestigious honour is awarded to a CEO of a technology company in recognition of exemplary leadership and contributions to the visibility of the Quebec Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) industry. The AQT is calling on CEOs in the ICT sector to submit nominations highlighting accomplishments that have had a significant impact on their businesses by January 15, 2014

Many benefits await the three finalists:

• Media coverage: Finalists and their companies will receive exceptional exposure, including a cover story in a special report in Les Affaires (print, online, and video formats).
• Media coaching: Finalists will have the opportunity to attend a two-hour training session on how to be a spokesperson and prepare for media interviews.
• Renown: Selection as a finalist or winner of the Investissement Québec CEO of the Year award reinforces the credibility and renown of the company and its CEO.
• Peer recognition: Finalists will be given the opportunity to present their projects to the participants of the 14^th CEO Vision event next February. The winner will be chosen by a vote of the ICT CEOs in attendance and the announcement will be made during the event.

Contest assessment criteria:

• The role and contribution of the CEO to project completion;
• The innovative and original nature of the achievement that highlights the CEO's leadership;
• The importance of the achievement in relation to the challenges, the availability of human and financial resources, as well as the company's current growth and size.

The finalists will be chosen by an independent selection committee comprised of CEOs of ICT companies and representatives of Investissement Québec and the Quebec Technology Association. The 2014 Investissement Québec CEO of the Year award will be presented Thursday, February 20, 2014 during CEO Vision, an exclusive event for CEOs of ICT companies, which will be held from February 19 to 21 at Mont Tremblant.
