NOVI, MI--(Marketwired - February 05, 2016) - The 2016 Great Lakes Builders Show -- GLBS 2016 -- is coming to Novi's Suburban Collection Showplace, February 17-18, 2016. Sponsored by the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Southeastern Michigan, this industry trade show promises to be an educational experience for professionals in the residential construction and remodeling industry as well as those interested in getting into the business. 

The GLBS 2016 officially opens Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Registration is $40.

Considered the Midwest's premier trade show, GLBS 2016, will feature learning opportunities and enriching events.

With a paid trade show registration, attendees can participate in a variety of seminars including successful marketing strategies, architectural trends, profitable business and hiring practices, Michigan residential construction code updates and more. The Wednesday seminars begin at 10 a.m. and go on throughout the day.

The keynote luncheon topic on Wednesday, February 17, is Residential Design Trends by Sarah Reep, American Society of Interior Design from Masco Corporation. Seating is limited to 350 and the lunch costs $35. Dr. David Crowe, Chief Economist, National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) will discuss the current and future state of the residential construction and remodeling industry on a national, regional and state level during Thursday's Economic Forecast Luncheon, February 18, 2016. This popular luncheon is limited to 500 people and costs $50. Both programs begin at noon. 

No trade show would be complete without exhibits! GLBS 2016 features nearly 100 exhibitors with specialties specific to the residential construction and remodeling industry.
