22nd annual Project Red Ribbon launches in Calgary

Special guests gather to tie red ribbons on emergency response vehicles to launch MADD Canada’s annual holiday campaign to promote sober driving.

Attention: Assignment Editor, City Editor, News Editor, Photo Editor OAKVILLE/ONTARIO/MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - Nov. 3, 2009) - A police car. An ambulance. A hearse. A taxi. If you had to choose your ride, which would it be?

MADD Canada's Choose Your Ride display gets people thinking about the consequences of impaired driving by making the point that if you don't call a taxi when impaired, or arrange another safe way home, you could end up in one of the other vehicles.

The Choose Your Ride vehicles, as well as a number of emergency response vehicles, will serve as the background for the launch of MADD Canada's 2009 Project Red Ribbon campaign on November 5 in Calgary, Alberta.
