24/7 Media Appoints Matthew Haies as General Counsel

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 24, 2013) - 24/7 Media, a global leader in digital media & technology, announced today that Matthew Haies has joined the company as VP, General Counsel. He oversees worldwide legal strategy for 24/7 Media.

Haies brings to the role a breadth of experience acquired over 15 years at prominent online advertising companies and law firms. He joins 24/7 Media from AppNexus, where he served initially as General Counsel and later as Vice President of Privacy Strategy. Prior to that, Haies co-founded and led a privacy-focused start-up venture. Earlier, he served as Senior Counsel at Google, where he was the lead attorney for the company's DoubleClick division and Invite Media subsidiary. Matt was formerly a corporate attorney at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, securities, and corporate governance.
