24i Showcases New "TV Everywhere" Technology and Platform at NAB Following Completion of $2M in Funding for Global Expansion

24i's OTT Product Stars Featured at NAB Include AppCore, Smart Apps and Smart Operator; Company Executives Will Showcase and Discuss New Technologies During a Press Conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Room N242

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Apr 14, 2015) - Amsterdam-based TV applications company 24i (http://24i.com), will showcase the latest technology for their industry leading "TV Everywhere" (TVE) platform set to re-conceptualize the way TV is distributed. Today at 1:00pm PT, 24i will hold a press conference at this year's National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center room N242 to demonstrate the company's TVE and Over-The-Top (OTT) TV technology, which has recently expanded to the U.S. market with new partnerships. New technology to be featured includes: AppCore, a state-of-the-art hub for fast TV app distribution, Smart Apps custom app solutions for each client and Smart Operator, a TVE solution offering uniform TV viewing experiences across multiple devices.

"We've built a strong international reputation for bringing the very best screen experience to TV viewers no matter where they're watching," said 24i CEO Martijn Van Horssen. "With U.S. market's rich culture of TV technology and innovation, we're pleased to be showcasing our next-level technology at the ground-breaking NAB Show as a grand introduction to this marketplace."

A 2012 Deloitte Rising Star, 24i is rapidly growing into a global market leader for TV Everywhere application and software development. The company has already built high performance, multiplatform TV apps in Europe for companies such as FOX Sports, Videoland, RTL, Pathé and HBO. Initially gestated as a smart TV software provider, 24i is recognized for its expertise in addressing all complex aspects of the production chain ranging from content monetization strategies to DRM, and now provides a host of advanced multiscreen solutions across a wide variety of Internet-connected devices.

Among the company's apps are the Smart App, Smart Builder, and Smart Operator products, which solve the problem of fragmentation by streamlining and simplifying app development and maintenance across all TV platforms. Broadcasters, cable networks and pay-TV operators can also collaborate with 24i using its proprietary production framework, AppCore, to create a fully customizable app that can be distributed across multiple platforms to reach a wider audience and capture more revenue.

24i's presence at this year's NAB Show in Las Vegas comes on the heels of a newly-completed $2 million round of funding from Newion Investments aimed at helping the company draw more partnerships in the U.S. market. The company will also have an appearance at the Internet & Television Expo (INTX) in Chicago, and recently opened an American office in Los Angeles, solidifying a strong footprint in the U.S. marketplace.

"We believe our technology is essential to every video content provider in the world," added Van Horssen." "If you're looking to add more value to your content delivery capabilities, we have the ideal solution built to work right out the box and we're thrilled at the opportunity to showcase this innovative technology to all of the creative minds and TV industry power players at NAB."
