300 Young People See a Year of Effort and Perseverance Rewarded by the TRIOOMPH Foundation: Nine Professional Racecar Drivers Combine Efforts to Encourage Perseverance in School

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 19, 2013) - The 2013 edition of TRIOOMPH Day, an initiative by the Foundation of the same name, will be held on July 3 at the Mirabel ICAR circuit. The day on the racetrack will reward the efforts and perseverance of 300 young people from some 30 high schools.

The young students will have the opportunity to act as co-pilot to the mentor-driver assigned to their school under the "drive your success" program. This activity rewards those who distinguish themselves by their attendance, their attitude and team spirit to reach their objectives. The activity also includes meetings with automotive journalist Bertrand Godin and racecar drivers: Ray Courtemanche Jr. and Isabelle Tremblay, as well as a benefit evening which will bring together professional drivers and business people.

An adrenaline-injected day!

Activity on the racetrack is the motivational element for youth who participate in the program because it enables them to focus on a specific goal. Young people and their mentor-driver also share an experience built on trust - since young people must have confidence to be co-drivers. Sharing, since it allows mentor-drivers to share their passion for racing with young people. This sharing is at the core of the program and is a key component in its success.

Along with the track activity and the benefit evening, young participants in the track day and guests at the benefit evening, will be delighted to see two stars of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series - Andrew Ranger and Isabelle Tremblay - have a friendly duel when they take the wheels of prestigious Porsches graciously lent by Porsche Prestige.

Professional racecar drivers and businesses give to the next young person by supporting the Foundation

Nine racecar drivers have generously given of their time to lend a hand to the TRIOOMPH Foundation by giving racing enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase an exclusive co-pilot package and to ride with one of them, namely:

• Patrice Brisebois, Montreal Canadians player development coach and racecar driver in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series

The co-pilot packages will allow buyers to drive several laps with one of the professional drivers and test their racing skills by taking the wheel of beautiful cars, including a Ferrari.

• A $250 co-pilot package that will allow a member of the public to experience 2 track laps as co-pilot with a professional driver. A guest of their choice can also accompany and take part in the action on the site.
