Macworld Engages Three Speakers From In-Demand 'Apple in the Enterprise' IT Consultancy

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - January 27, 2011) -  Macworld 2011 -- 318, Inc., an IT consulting and development firm specializing in integrating Apple in the enterprise, will play a significant role at Macworld 2011 with experts leading three training sessions at the world's largest gathering for the Apple-products marketplace. 318's Charles Edge, director of technology; Zack Smith, Pacific NW professional services manager and Beau Hunter, system engineer, will present on the most current issues for the third-party marketplace. 

Charles Edge will preside over two sessions, Home Automation with Mac OS X, and Troubleshooting Mac OS X Server Tips and Tricks. They'll even throw in a few proactive tips to keep attendees from having to troubleshoot things in the first place! As the director of technology at 318, he manages projects, training, engineers and other aspects of the organization. Charles is the author of the newly published Enterprise iPhone and iPad Administrator's Guide (published by Apress), his sixth book on the subject of Apple in the enterprise.

Zack Smith will co-present with Charles Edge at the session Troubleshooting Mac OS X Server Tips and Tricks. An Apple certified trainer, Zack has taught Apple's Security Best Practices Class, as well as many of the other Apple Certified System Administrator level classes (such as Mac OS X Deployment and Mac OS X Directory Services). He's also authored a set of open-source IT administration software and scripts. Zack is also an author, having co-authored Foundations of Mac OS X Leopard Security.

Beau Hunter will lead The Command Line Interface Demystified. He has been working professionally with Apple technologies since 1999, and has been supporting businesses running the Mac OS for nearly ten years. He authored and maintains the open source Transmogrified toolkit for Final Cut Server and co-authored two books: Enterprise Mac Administrator's Guide and Enterprise Mac Security: Mac OS X Snow Leopard. 

More than 25,000 attendees are gathering at the Moscone Convention Center for the four-day conference and exhibition, January 26 - 29.
