33Across Names Former AT&T Executive Chung Cheong as VP of Product Management and Yahoo! Director Neil Fried as VP of Business Development

Big Data Operator Increases Marketplace Momentum, Secures High-Caliber Additions

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jun 25, 2012) - 33Across, operators of the largest social and interest graph in the world, reaching over a billion users, announced that it has hired Chung Cheong as Vice President of Product Management and Neil Fried as Vice President of Business Development. These two executives will expand the 33Across executive team and bring a breadth of experience to the high-growth company. Chung will work out of the company's Sunnyvale office and report to Eric Wheeler, CEO of 33Across. Neil will work out of the 33Across headquarters in New York and report to Greg Levitt, GM Publisher Solutions at 33Across.

Most recently serving as AT&T Interactive's Vice President of Advertising & Publisher Products, Chung will spearhead product strategy, vision, and development of new products for 33Across. Neil will lead 33Across's business development efforts, just as he did at Yahoo!, where he was formerly Director of Business Development and led strategic advertising technology partnerships. Both executives come to 33Across after the company's successful acquisition of Tynt in January 2012.

Chung Cheong joins 33Across from AT&T Interactive where he was VP, Advertising and Publisher Products, and led a team of 60 product managers, business managers, and UX/Designers. Prior to AT&T Interactive, Chung led Product and Analytics for social-mobile startup, JAXTR, which was acquired by Sabse Technologies in 2009. His earlier experience includes four years at eBay, leading a product management and product marketing team, four years at Elance, where he led different product and category initiatives, and a few years at Boston Consulting Group in Malaysia. Chung holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BS in Statistics and Economics from the University of Auckland.

Neil Fried joins 33Across from Yahoo!, where he was formerly Director of Business Development and led strategic advertising technology partnerships with companies spanning across mobile, rich media, data, video, and social technologies. Neil brings over 12 years of experience in evaluating, negotiating, and structuring digital technology partnerships. Prior to Yahoo!, Neil managed corporate development for Gannett where he was responsible for structuring and executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments within the digital and traditional media landscape. Neil holds an ME with a joint degree from Cornell's Johnson School of Business and College of Engineering and a BS from Cornell University.
