33Across Strengthens Executive Team With 3 Executive Positions

Sachin Devand, Carine Roman, and Pedro Mejia to Help Accelerate 33Across' Rapid Expansion

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Oct 4, 2011) - 33Across, the leading social targeting platform, announced today that two seasoned executives have joined the high-growth company: Sachin Devand as Vice President of Platform Products and Carine Roman as Vice President of Operations. Pedro Mejia, who joined the team last year was also promoted to Vice President of Finance.

Sachin, Carine, and Pedro join recently hired President, Matt Arkin, and Marketing VP Allie Savarino Kline, to round out the 33Across executive team. The 33Across staff, as a whole, has more than quadrupled over the past year.

Sachin Devand is Vice President of Platform Products, bringing more than 8 years of experience building extensible digital advertising products to 33Across. He is currently responsible for developing next generation advertising products for 33Across. Prior to 33Across, he served as Vice President of Advertising Services and was instrumental in launching LucidMedia's demand side platform (DSP), where he ran ad operations and account management. At LucidMedia, Sachin also ran engineering where he was responsible for building large scale, distributed, web based products. Sachin's previous roles include Director of Engineering positions at Entrieva and Intelligenx. Sachin holds a BTech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay and an MS in Computer Science from George Mason University.

Carine Roman is Vice President of Operations and brings a breadth of experience in media and advertising operations, along with strong leadership skills to 33Across. Her responsibilities encompass analytics, media and sales operations, campaign optimization, and fulfillment. Carine began her career in media and advertising in Paris, France, where she ran sales and operations for a division of Publicis. After nearly 8 years at Publicis, Carine moved to New York in 2003 to pursue an MBA and consult for both Ziff Davis Media and American Lawyer Media. In 2006 Carine joined Ziff Davis Enterprise where she served as the Senior VP of Digital Media managing all digital/business operations and product development for the company. Carine holds an MS in Management from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Toulouse and an MBA in Media Management and Finance from Columbia Business School.

Pedro Mejia is Vice President of Finance for 33Across, bringing over a decade of experience in finance and business management to the company. In his broad capacity as VP of Finance, Pedro oversees multiple facets of the organization, such as finance, facilities, and HR, while also providing commercial and strategic partnership to the executive team. Prior to 33Across, he held various senior financial roles at Sudler & Hennessy, DraftFCB, and most recently as Partner, Client Finance Manager at Neo@Ogilvy. While at Neo@Ogilvy, Pedro successfully managed a client-facing finance team that drove improved revenue, profitability, and working capital across an impressive roster of leading clients. Pedro holds a BA in Business Administration from Bernard Baruch College.
