The 340B Prime Vendor Program Adds Integrity Prescription Benefit Administrators to Its Growing List of Service Contracts for Participants

IRVING, TX--(Marketwire - June 4, 2007) - The 340B Prime Vendor Program, managed by HealthCare Purchasing Partners International® (HPPI) announced today that it has entered into a three-year agreement with Integrity Prescription Benefit Administrators to offer a unique pharmacy benefit administration solution to 340B covered entities participating in the 340B Prime Vendor Program.

Through this agreement, Integrity will enable PVP participants to control their prescription costs and claims processing needs. The Prime Vendor Program was established to increase the discounts already offered under Section 340B of the U.S. Public Health Service Act, providing low-cost drugs to clinics, hospitals and programs for low-income Americans. Over 12,000 providers across the country qualify to participate in the discount program at no cost, and more than 4,800 facilities are currently enrolled.
