PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Jan 28, 2015) - The Arizona Lottery announces a $369,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot winning ticket was sold in Mesa for the draw on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. This marks the fifth big prize win in Arizona in January.
The winning ticket matched not only the five out of five numbers for a prize of $369,000, but also had two additional wins of three out of five for $5 each. The ticket was sold at Mekong Supermarket, 66 S. Dobson Rd. in Mesa. The winning numbers were 06-12-17-20-27. The jackpot had been rising steadily since Dec. 11, 2014.
"January has been a great month for winners," said Karen Bach, director of budget, products, and communications for the Arizona Lottery. "It is great to kick off the year by giving away so many big prize checks."
Fantasy 5 drawings are held nightly, Monday through Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at any Arizona Lottery retailer. Players can check their tickets by visiting ArizonaLottery.com.
Players must be 21 years or older to purchase or redeem tickets. Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize at an Arizona Lottery office or by mail. Overall odds vary by game.
