37th Apprehension of a "Wanted by the CBSA" Individual


OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 24, 2012) - The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the 37th apprehension of a person on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list.

In the evening of December 20, CBSA officers attached to the Toronto Immigration Task Force arrested Cory Alexie Bygrave in Scarborough, ON. Bygrave is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality for being convicted of careless use of a firearm, possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition and trafficking in a controlled substance.

To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 37 individuals in Canada, of which 25 have been removed. Additionally, five individuals were located abroad.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
