3C Network to Adapt Roofing Contractor Technologies for Insurance Carriers to Prompt Faster Storm-Damage Restoration

Accomplished Insurance Executive, Ken Cook, Added to 3C Network Leadership

WESTMINSTER, CO--(Marketwire - Apr 11, 2012) - The 3C Network (www.3C.com), a roofing technology and business service company, has appointed Ken Cook as its first Senior Vice President - Insurance Business Development and Operations. 3C Network pioneered roofing contractor methods to inspect, estimate and manage roof, siding and gutter construction with greater efficiency and accuracy using technology and services. In this new role, Cook will oversee insurance carrier alliances to bridge the gap between carriers' storm damage documentation needs for claims and what roofing contractors and adjusters consistently produce. Cook will leverage 3C Network's mobile technology to automate and standardize the documentation from contractors digitally in order to expedite repairs and minimize expenses associated with property insurance loss adjustment.

"3C Network's roofing contractor management software, inspection and estimating tools aid contractor productivity and their ability to quickly help consumers," said 3C Network CEO L.C. Nussbeck. "Yet a large part of expediting property damage repairs is driven by the documentation needs of insurers, and the time it takes to process the onslaught of inconsistent documentation submitted by roofers. We are confident that, with Ken Cook's insurance industry expertise and leadership, we'll further innovate and turn the roofing contractor industry on its head by enabling contractors to efficiently and effectively adapt their documentation based on the needs of each insurance carrier."

3C Network Focuses on Insurance Industry Expertise

Cook brings more than 25 years experience in the insurance industry, including Vice President Enterprise Operations at The Hartford, Underwriting Vice President at FBL Financial Group and as Vice President - Operations at State Farm. Cook's career responsibilities have spanned from P&C underwriting, agency sales, claims and marketing to human resources, government relations and governance. As a division manager with State Farm in Florida, Ken managed the catastrophe claim operation following Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

"I'm excited to be a part of 3C Network in the vital role of transforming the roofing contracting industry to better serve consumers, contractors and carriers," said Cook. "Linking roofing contractor technology to the needs of insurance companies will drive consistency, efficiency and, more importantly, prompt, proper repairs for consumers after storms."

Cook attended the University of Northern Colorado and received a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Monfort College of Business.
