3DIcon Receives $150,000 Advance on Warrants Under Existing Financing Agreement With Golden State Equity to Develop Further Its Three-Dimension Technology

TULSA, OK--(Marketwire - January 27, 2010) - 3DIcon Corporation (OTCBB: TDCP), the developer of volumetric, three-dimension projection and display technologies, today announced that it has received the first of two $75,000 installments from Golden State Equity in San Francisco under a previous agreement to fund up to $13.5 million under several debenture and warrant instruments.

After extensive research, 3DIcon Corporation has developed the world's first true, 360°, three-dimensional, static volume display -- CSpace®. This achievement in volumetric 3D imaging overcomes the limitations of other approaches as it has no moving parts and requires no special viewing aids to see the projected images. Potential CSpace benefits also include a scalable projection space, high-resolution display, "sliceability" to zoom in and view cross sections, and high frame and refresh rates to represent better changing images and movement. Additionally, CSpace will be able to capture and translate data in real time, which can eliminate the delay inherent in today's imaging technologies. All of these capabilities provide a substantial advantage over current technologies.

CSpace promises to improve accuracy and decrease human error in practical 3D applications that were previously thought not to be achievable. By introducing CSpace to industries such as healthcare and security, CSpace can dramatically enhance mission-critical applications. The ability to view real-time 3D images should transform the way surgeons operate, for example, or the way field commanders move troops. In addition, air traffic controllers could use CSpace to visualize aircraft traffic in busy airspace corridors. Other opportunities include oil and gas exploration, entertainment and gaming, and advertising.
