3E Company® Launches New Version of Ariel™ Data Manager Featuring Data Integration With The WERCS®

ADM Version 2 Offers Customers Enhanced Features and Improved Functionality, Including Ability to Load Regulatory Data Into The WERCS

CARLSBAD, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 27, 2006 -- 3E Company, the leading provider of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today announced the upcoming release of Ariel Data Manager (ADM) Version 2, with availability expected in early April 2006. The new version includes many valuable upgrades, as well as an application to load regulatory data into The WERCS, a leading material safety data sheet (MSDS) authoring solution. Customers utilizing both ADM and The WERCS will now be able to seamlessly integrate the two solutions and further simplify the compliance process.

Global companies face the daunting challenge of efficiently monitoring continuously increasing and evolving complex requirements promulgated by regulatory agencies around the world. Ariel Data Manager simplifies this process by allowing customers to integrate high quality, up-to-date chemical regulatory and scientific content into their corporate EH&S or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Streamlining the regulatory data management process increases operational efficiencies, promotes compliance and enables more informed decision-making.

New Features

The new version of ADM will continue to provide EH&S professionals with the most accurate and up-to-date regulatory information available. ADM Version 2 features user-friendly mapping, masking and loading modules for integrating regulatory data into The WERCS application. These new features ensure that the Ariel data is quickly and easily uploaded into The WERCS. In addition to being compatible with The WERCS, ADM Version 2 will also feature a redesigned, intuitive Web interface. Other new features include:

-- Enhanced Decision Support capabilities that allow uploading and
reviewing of changes to regulations so that The WERCS users will
no longer have to reload all regulatory data at every update.
--'Generics' support that allows users to make decisions regarding
the applicability of regulatory groups ('generics'). Once a user
makes a choice, the application remembers that choice and uses it in
   applying any future data updates.
-- A Data Sync mechanism that provides the ability to schedule content
updates over the Internet. This synchronizes the latest version of
Ariel data with a local database, which allows users to then review
data and to save it to The WERCS.
-- Open Web services architecture and multiple database support
-- Support for additional data categories including toxicity, eco-toxicity,
physical and chemical properties (available during the second half
   of 2006).
-- Users of The WERCS will also enjoy:
-- Improved mapping and masking features that will allow creation of
multiple maps per single Ariel regulation
-- Ability to load regulatory data for a specific product or component
"The development of this product is a terrific reflection of our respective company's core strengths -- world class chemical regulatory content integrated tightly with industry-leading authoring technology," said Lou DeSorbo, founder and president of The Wercs. "This solution delivers a truly unique and powerful combination."

"We listened to our common customers and incorporated their feedback into this new version of ADM. As a result, ADM Version 2 is our best yet -- a true collaborative effort that emphasizes our commitment to our customers, especially those authoring with The WERCS. By making the industry leading Ariel data available to the entire WERCS user community, we are further strengthening our position as the market leader," said Bob Christie, President and CEO, 3E Company. "Our EH&S Decision Support products and services, including the ADM family of products, have been proven to increase efficiencies, streamline processes and save EH&S professionals valuable time so they can focus on what they do best."

Pricing for ADM and The WERCS loader is based on the number of regulatory content modules used.
