407 ETR Replaces Octel® System With Voice Mobility's UCN Vmerge

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 27, 2008) - Voice Mobility International, Inc. (TSX:VMY)(OTCBB:VMII)(FRANKFURT:VMY), a Vancouver-based developer and provider of carrier and enterprise enhanced messaging solutions, today announced the UCN Vmerge product has been selected to replace 407 ETR's legacy Octel® 250 system. 407 ETR selected UCN Vmerge due to its advanced unified communications (UC) functionality, including presence, desktop integration, speech applications and mobility.

407 ETR trialed UCN Vmerge for three months. UCN Vmerge product was mated with an existing Nortel Option 61C Succession 3.0® switch residing at 407 ETR. This illustrates one of Voice Mobility's strengths: the ability to integrate with multiple IP and TDM PBX vendors. Additionally, 407 ETR is a Microsoft® IT shop so they were seeking a solution that could collaborate and integrate with their Exchange® environment.

407 ETR is the operator and manager of Highway 407, which extends 108 kilometres east-west, just north of Toronto, Canada. Voice Mobility's UCN Vmerge system will be used by executives, management and call center supervisors. Flexible licensing options allow 407 ETR to deploy a solution that exactly meets their communication needs and functionality can be added by 407 ETR's IT staff to support growth quickly. 407 ETR will employ speech-driven auto-attendant for its call routing requirements; desktop integration for its in-office staff; and presence and mobility functionality for some employees. Executive and mobile staff will make full use of Blackberry® functions, which are accessible through a mobile client.

"Voice Mobility is proud to be selected as the unified communication solution for 407 ETR," said Randy Buchamer, CEO of Voice Mobility. "407 ETR is a technology-based company with a philosophy of staying ahead of the curve. Customers like 407 ETR are choosing our UCN 250 and Vmerge products to meet their varied unified communications requirements."
