41st Parameter on Approach to ATPS/Co-Brand 2012

Fraud Prevention Leader to Play Key Role in Multiple Sessions at London Event

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 19, 2012) - 41st Parameter, the global leader in fraud detection and prevention, will be playing an active role at the Airline and Travel Payment Systems (ATPS)/Co-Brand 2012 event taking place in London from October 23rd to the 24th. 41st Parameter's prominent role at ATPS, coupled with its recently announced partnership with Elavon, demonstrates the company's focus on the travel and hospitality industry.

The ATPS, now in its sixth year, continues to grow and attract enthusiastic delegates from around the world. 41st Parameter has a long history of support and participation at ATPS. This year, the company -- which serves the world's top banks, ecommerce brands, travel companies and the leading global airlines -- will be involved in three sessions:

  • Frequent Flyer Fraud - Matt Lane, VP of Customer Operations, will expose the growing trend of fraudsters targeting frequent flyer points accounts and will describe a number of ways to prevent this type of misconduct.
  • Ai Lion's Den - Hugh Steed, Director of Sales and Operations for the EU, will bravely face five industry "lions" as he has five minutes to pitch them on the value of 41st Parameter's technology.
  • Minimizing Cross-Border Fraud - Justine Levitte, Senior Director of Channel Operations for the airline and travel industries, will educate the audience on the special fraud risks presented by major global events such as the Olympics or World Cup -- and how they can be mitigated.

Lane will also be presenting at a special pre-conference Workshop and Loyalty Fraud Prevention Working Group. His talk will be focused on the customer experience and satisfaction as it relates to security and fraud prevention.

To close the conference, 41st Parameter and Elavon will host a wine tasting and networking event as a celebration of their recently announced strategic alliance. This event, which is in its third year, has become a favorite among attendees. This year delegates will be treated to a tour of England's largest vineyard to enjoy select wines, champagnes and a variety of delicious canapés. Conference attendees can register for the event at the 41st Parameter booth at the conference.
