The agreement has been amended to add coverage for the 4G technologies LTE and WiMAX™ and to extend the license term to 2016. The patent license, which previously provided coverage for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) modules and PC Cards, also has been expanded to cover modules for use in certain consumer electronic devices such as personal computers, tablets, and gaming devices.
