5-Star Hotel in Paris Welcomes New Leadership and Vision

Anne Legrand Brings Experience and Innovation to the Paris Marriott Hotel Champs-Elysees

PARIS, FRANCE--(Marketwired - Nov 6, 2014) - The Paris Marriott Hotel Champs-Elysees is pleased to announce the recent arrival of its new general manager, Anne Legrand. With a career in hospitality spanning more than 25 years and a proven track record for leadership, corporate social responsibility and a unique appreciation for Marriott service, Ms. Legrand not only makes the ideal leader for this upscale hotel in Paris France, but she represents a promising future as well.

Ms. Legrand arrived at the Paris Marriott Hotel Champs-Elysees in late September 2014 by way of the Renaissance Paris Le Parc Trocadero Hotel, where she served as the general manager since 2011. The luxury and elegance of that property resonate with this five-star hotel on the Champs-Elysees, where Ms. Legrand will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operations of 192 guest rooms and suites, four dining venues and a reputation for excellence.

Of course, Ms. Legrand is well-equipped for the challenge. A graduate of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris, Ms. Legrand joined the Paris Marriott Hotel Champs-Elysees in 1997 as Director of Commerce. She went on to serve as the Director of Sales and Marketing, and then the Director of Operations before taking charge of the Courtyard by Marriott Paris Neuilly in 2002. After overseeing two more hotels, Ms. Legrand has returned to this premier property as general manager.

Business savvy, however, is only part of what Ms. Legrand brings to her new position. The other part -- the Spirit to Serve that so defines Marriott properties around the world -- has been cultivated with equal gusto by Ms. Legrand. Since 2008, she has chaired the Business Council, which includes the majority of the Marriott's hotels in France. In this position she has facilitated many philanthropic events to benefit charitable, social and environmental causes, work that has earned the council several awards.

With such an illustrious background and demonstrable commitment to the community, Ms. Legrand promises to only enhance this property's reputation among hotels near the Arc de Triomphe and across Paris.
