5th Asia Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ASQED) Announces Program; Convenes Aug. 27-28, Penang, Malaysia


SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 1, 2013) - The 5th annual Asia Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ASQED), the premier and pioneer electronic design quality conference, announced its 2013 program consisting of talks by experts that cover multiple topics related to electronic design and semiconductors. The speakers and attendees include providers, designers, and users of integrated circuits (IC) and systems, semiconductor, Sensors, IC Packaging, PCB/PWB, Assembly, Test, and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and methodologies.

ASQED Microelectronic Olympiad
The ASQED Microelectronics Olympiad, sponsored by Synopsys, International Society for Quality Electronic Design and Silicon valley Polytechnic Institute, is an educational contest intended to spotlight young engineers and engineering students active in the field of microelectronics. The Olympiad consists of a written test covering a variety of topics related to digital and analog circuit design. The competition will take place on Monday Aug. 26 in Penang Malaysia. Winners will be announced on Wednesday Aug. 28.
