7th Annual Restaurant Executive Summit Slated for September 2011 With Focus on "Setting the Table for Growth"

RANDOLPH, NJ--(Marketwire - Jun 22, 2011) - The seventh annual Restaurant Executive Summit, produced by Hospitality Technology magazine, will be held September 14-16, 2011, at The Palmer House Hilton in Chicago. This event brings together 100 senior-level executives from the nation's top-growing restaurant chains, from both the corporate and franchisee communities. With a focus on cross-departmental collaboration and growth, senior-most leaders from across the restaurant enterprise, including technology, operations, finance and marketing, will gather with peers for two days of solution-focused educational sessions and valuable networking opportunities.

Structured as a relaxed and intimate conference, not a hectic convention, the Restaurant Executive Summit provides ample opportunities to connect with Summit speakers before and after sessions, as well as during networking breaks and meals. Peer-to-peer collaboration and networking with the hospitality industry's leading technology solution providers offer additional value to attendees.

The educational sessions at the Summit, all focused around the theme, "Setting the Table for Growth," will help executives identify priority initiatives and opportunities for profitable business growth in 2011 and beyond. The speakers -- senior-level restaurant executives and trends analysts -- will share ideas for improving operations through technology, while also capturing "always-on," mobile-enabled consumers in new and innovative ways.

Specific topics include "Maintaining a Competitive Edge," "Best Practices for Outsourcing Success in Restaurants," "Vendor Negotiation & Buying Strategies," "Cost Managing Your Supply Chain," "PCI Tips & Tools" and "Legislation & Employees." In addition, a CEO panel discussion on "Business Priorities & Solutions for 2012" will include the founder and CEO of Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants; the president and CEO of Scotty's Brewhouse will speak on "Optimizing & Integrating Your Online Presence"; and the director of technology and CIO of Hard Rock International and SBE Entertainment Group's director of SBE operations, logistics and special projects will discuss "Top Strategic Technologies for 2012" with other executive panelists.

Hospitality Technology's Editor-in-Chief Abigail A. Lorden states, "One of the key benefits of this Summit is the opportunity for decision-makers within a restaurant company to share strategies and exchange ideas outside of departmental silos, with the collective goal of staying in front of industry trends, preserving financial health and positioning their companies for growth." As the CFO of Macayo Restaurants LLC put it, "If you want to talk to the players who can bring you solutions, this is a must conference."
