AEK Investment : the closing date is postponed

SOREL-TRACY, Jan. 23 - M. Jean Beaudoin, President and CEO
of Conporec Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CNP) today announces that the closing date of the investment
expected by Amsterdams Effectenkantoor B.V. (AEK), an investment company from
Holland, has been postponed. Expected at the end of January, the closing date
is postponed to February 28th 2006 due to health problem with the investor's
representative. Let's remember that AEK offered to invest, via a private
placement, $1.5 millions in equity and create a line of equity investments in
the Company for a total amount of $30 millions, subject to the terms and
conditions already provided in the press release of January 10th 2006.

filling by treating 100% of organic content, thus contributing to reclaim up
