AJWright's "Gift of Happy" Transforms Children's Lives This Holiday Season

Retailer Gives $1 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America for Every Video View

FRAMINGHAM, MA--(Marketwire - December 21, 2009) - AJWright is extending happiness beyond shopping bags and sales this holiday season with the heartwarming video, "The Gift of Happy." For each view of "The Gift of Happy" on WrapUpHappy.com, AJWright will donate $1 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

"The Gift of Happy" is an inspirational story told through the unique art of shadow puppetry and features current children and staff of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus. The children helped create the shadow images used to tell the story of "Happy the Bear" and his journey toward self-acceptance.

"'The Gift of Happy' is a timeless holiday story that resonates with everyone, regardless of their background, and conveys a universal message of staying true to oneself," said Kathy Clair, AJWright assistant vice president of marketing. "We're simply asking people to be inspired and watch the video as a way to make their own charitable contribution this year."

World-renowned shadow master Bob Stromberg played an integral role in bringing this project to life. He cheerfully taught the art of shadow puppetry to the children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus. Throughout the making of "The Gift of Happy," the children transformed into master puppeteers and, more importantly, confident individuals.

"What transpired during the shadow puppet workshops was truly magical," said Rebecca Asmo, Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus director of development. "This project has provided the children from our club a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and AJWright has helped reinforce the message that anything is possible when one is given the opportunity."

One click is all it takes to change the lives of children this holiday season. To view "The Gift of Happy," simply visit WrapUpHappy.com and $1 will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The video can also be viewed on YouTube and Facebook.
