ALTRAN TECHNOLOGIES : Yves de Chaisemartin announces a new Group Management Committee

PARIS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 5, 2006 -- Altran : Yves de Chaisemartin announces a new Group Management Committee

Two months following his appointment as President of the management board of the Altran Group, Yves de Chaisemartin today announced the creation of a Group Management Committee comprising the following two sub-committees:

- An Executive Committee charged with managing the Group to ensure consistency with its strategic priorities

- An Operational Committee charged with building the Group's growth on its key markets and increasing the Group's operating margin.

"Our organizational structure must support developments in our businesses while serving our clients' projects", said Yves de Chaisemartin, Altran's Chief Executive Officer and President of the management board. "The changes in the Group's corporate governance meet two essential objectives: managing the company's operations on a daily basis while maximizing revenue growth in France and abroad. It also reflects our determination to ensure the objectives of our operating managers follow closely in line with the Group's development and to boost the Group's growth".

The Executive Committee is made up of executives from the current management board: Yves de Chaisemartin and Eric Albrand, Chief Financial Officer, together with the appointment of :

- Cyril Roger, formerly CEO of Segula Technologies, who is joining Altran as Executive Vice President.

- Frédéric Grard, Executive Vice President,

- Pascal Brier, Executive Vice President responsible for Strategy, Marketing and Communication.

Cyril Roger and Frédéric Grard will be charged with managing all operational staff alongside Yves de Chaisemartin, with a view to promoting business growth and new client offerings.

The Operational Committee is made up of five senior managers representing Altran's various businesses and regions. This committee was established in order to meet the goal to ensure the objectives of the operating managers follow closely in line with the Group's development and to boost the Group's growth. The committee's members consist of:

- Dominique d'Andrimont, Executive Director Altran Benelux & Scandinavia,

- Jose Ramon Magarzo, Executive Director Altran Spain,

- Yves Rommel, Executive Director of Altran Germany, Austria and Switzerland,

- Laurent Sicart , Executive Director France Regions,

- Michael Traem, CEO of Arthur D. Little.

The Group's new organizational structure concludes a range of steps taken during the last two months such as the project to establish a unique Technologies and Innovation company in France, and the implementation of a new branding strategy designed to position Altran as a core player and winner on its markets.

Biographies - Executive Committee

Pascal Brier, 44, joined Altran a year ago as Communications Director from Microsoft. Graduating from EDHEC, Pascal Brier began his career with NCR before joining AT&T as Director Multimedia Southern Europe. In 1995, he joined Microsoft where, in turn, he was key Accounts Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Director, Marketing and Communication Director followed by Business and Marketing Officer for Microsoft France. Pascal Brier is a director of Syntec Informatique and joint-chairman of the Technologies Consulting Committee.

Frédéric Grard, 33, joined Altran in 1995 after graduating from EPSCI to develop the Group's business in Belgium. In 2002, he was then promoted to Executive Director. In 2004, he was put in charge of creating operational synergies between ADL and Altran UK. He returned to Paris in July 2005 as Executive Vice President of Altran Technologies. Since July 2006, he has been head of the Group's Automotive, Infrastructure and Transport division.

Cyril Roger, 42, has been previously President of the management board of Segula Technologies from 1999. A graduate of Centrale Lyon and ENST, Cyril began his career with France Télécom as Business Engineer before joining Adecco as Regional Director followed by OLSTEN as Managing Director Paris region.

Biographies - Operational CommitteeDominique d'Andrimont, 45, graduate of ENSAM, joined Altran in 1986 where he began as consultant working for Dassault on flight simulators and maintenance for Mirage 2000 programs. He was subsequently promoted to Business Manager. From 1993 to 1997, he developed a profit center which became a division comprising 160 engineers and 10 Business Managers. From 1997 to 2001, he was Managing Director of Altran Technologies (the operating company) before leaving in 2001 for Benelux. In 2004, he was made Director of Benelux and Scandinavia.Javier Ramon Magarzo, 52, a Spanish citizen, graduate of corporate management from the Complutense University of Madrid, is a member of the College of Spanish Economists. José Ramón began his career as an auditor with Klynweld Kraayenhof & Co and was later a financial analyst for Digital Equipment Corporation. He subsequently joined Coopers & Lybrand where he was appointed partner and then Managing Director of the Consulting division. Following a spell with Ernst & Young Consultores as executive director for Spain, he was recruited by Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as Managing Director of operations for Spain. Before joining Altran, José Ramón Margazo was CEO of the consulting firm Getronics.

Yves Rommel, 43, joined Altran in 1995 where in turn he was Consultant, business manager and Associate Director before moving to Eurospace GMBH (the group's German subsidiary) in 2000. In 2001, he became Eurospace GMBH's CEO. In 2005, Yves was appointed Executive Director of Altran for Germany, Austria and subsequently Switzerland. Before joining Altran, Yves obtained a master's degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and a Doctorate in Mathematics from the Paris Dauphine University. He began his career with CR2A (an IBM subsidiary) before being appointed Director for Green Cross France, a non-governmental organization headed by M. Gorbatchev.

Laurent Sicart, 44, a graduate of IAE Toulouse and holder of a master's degree in computer sciences, joined Altran in 1991. He began his career with IBM France as Business Engineer before moving to CEGID as Regional Manager. At Altran, he was previously Business Unit Director, then Managing Director of subsidiaries and subsequently a Partner in Spain and head of Latin America. He was then appointed Executive Director in charge of the French regions.

Michael Traem, 44, a German citizen, has been appointed CEO of Arthur D. Little in September 2006. He is the former Executive Vice President of Celerant Management Consulting. He began his career as a business lawyer. In 1989, he joined A.T. Kearney Management Consultants, where he spent most of his career. With leadership responsibilities in strategy projects, he became Principal in 1994, with specialization in strategy, turnaround management and M&A projects. 1997, he was appointed Vice President and member of A.T. Kearney's European strategy team. From 2000 to 2003 he was Managing Director for the company's profit centre in Central Europe, and in 2004 became leader of the Greater European profit centre and member of the Global Operating committee of the firm. Michael Traem studied Law and completed a PhD at the University of Saarland. He is the author of several books about Management.About Altran
