ATS: Advanced Technology Services Achieves Double Digit Growth in 2007 as Manufacturers Increase Demand for Factory Asset Maintenance

Company Continues Global Expansion Into Europe, Mexico in 2008

PEORIA, IL--(Marketwire - January 8, 2008) - The mandate for manufacturers to seek more strategic initiatives to manage production costs and improve profits in 2007 contributed to double digit growth for Advanced Technology Services, Inc., (ATS), the industry leader in managed production equipment maintenance, industrial parts repair and innovative IT solutions. The company surpassed $160M in corporate revenue for 2007 and reached the 2,000 employee mark, milestones the company forecasts to continue in 2008 as more manufacturers engage the company for factory asset maintenance.

ATS continued on a sharp upward trajectory during the year with the expansion of its business outside of the U.S. in Mexico and the United Kingdom, and has established itself in the swiftly growing outsourced production maintenance marketplace internationally.

ATS reached these milestones by implementing a multi-faceted corporate strategy rooted in innovative human resources and marketing programs to recruit a skilled technical workforce. In addition, ATS delivered exceptional service and productivity improvements to customers while capitalizing on the expansion of the asset management services market that manufacturing analyst firm Frost & Sullivan sizes at $124 billion and growing.

"We were able to surpass our performance goals for the year due to the efforts of each of our employees and their unwavering commitment to serving our customers," said ATS President Jeffrey Owens. "We will continue to amplify and expand our leadership position in the fast-growing factory asset maintenance services market. We anticipate even stronger performance in 2008, as we broaden our international presence and expand our focus to a growing array of vertical markets."

From its roots as a spin-off enterprise of Caterpillar to its current position as the leader in outsourced production asset maintenance, ATS has helped its customers increase factory productivity, fulfill a growing need for skilled labor, and improve both competitiveness and profitability. New customers for ATS in 2007 include: Georgia Pacific, USG, Ecolab Inc., Associated Materials, Inc., National Standard, and Berner Foods. ATS also deepened relationships with longstanding customers Eaton, Caterpillar Inc., Honeywell, Ingram Micro, NTN Bower, O'Neal Steel, J&L Fiber Services, Textron and Honda Motor Company.

The company made its first international foray in 2007 by initiating operations throughout Mexico (previously announced). ATS continued to expand internationally in the United Kingdom and is providing service to a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, which manufactures the world's leading brand of contact lenses. In addition, ATS is providing factory services for Eaton Corporation, a leading global diversified industrial manufacturer, at its Birmingham, UK location.

ATS will continue its global growth in 2008 by expanding its operations in Mexico and the United Kingdom, developing operations in China, and exploring additional growth opportunities in Europe and Asia.
