AU COEUR DE LA MODE: Designer Fashion Event Raises Over $375,000 for Quebecers Living With HIV and AIDS!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 4, 2010) - The Farha Foundation this weekend celebrated the 25th edition of AU CŒUR DE LA MODE, Quebec's largest fashion fundraising event. More than 3,500 people took part in the semi-annual event, shopping for a cause at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.

To mark the occasion, more than 60 designers, importers and retailers joined forces to sell their latest collections at discounts of 50% or more. With 25% of profits going directly to the Farha Foundation to help the over 20,000 men, women and children in Quebec living with HIV/AIDS, the sale raised a total of $375,000.

As a result of AU CŒUR DE LA MODE's success in recent years, the Foundation broadening the sale to a two-day event giving guests the chance to shop on both Saturday and Sunday.

As an added bonus, VIP guests were treated with the opportunity to meet and shop with Simard in addition to the pre-shopping advantage they enjoyed.
