Abcourt Mines Inc.: Additionnal Drilling Results on Elder-Tagami Property

MONT-ST-HILAIRE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 29, 2010) - Mr. Renaud Hinse, president and C.E.O. of Abcourt Mines Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ABI)(BERLIN:ABI)(FRANKFURT:ABI), is pleased to announce additional drilling results on the West Gold Zone in Duprat Township located at the northern end of the Elder-Tagami property. The gold values are found in a shear zone striking N-40˚-E and dipping about 60˚ to the south-east and in low-dipping fractures in the hanging and footwall of the shear zone.

A base line was established with a bearing of N-41˚-E and sections at right angle, are spaced 30 meters apart. So far, we have received results from ten holes, all drilled vertically. Results are as follows:

All assays were done by Technilab S.G, an approved laboratory.

The first ten holes represent only 1,462 meters drilled on our 10,000-meter program. Eight additional holes for a total of 995 meters have already been drilled but assays are pending.

This drilling is done to confirm and to extend the West Gold Zone where eleven consecutive high grade gold intersections were obtained in a previous drilling program (see Press Release dated March 1, 2010). We are planning to drill this zone with a pattern of holes close enough so that it will be possible to calculate 43-101 resources.

Abcourt Mines Inc. is an exploration and development company with strategically located properties in Northwestern Quebec, Canada. The Abcourt-Barvue project with 43-101 silver-zinc ore reserves and resources and the Elder mine with 43-101 gold resources and the Aldermac property with historical copper-zinc resources are all former producers. Abcourt is now focused on bringing the Abcourt-Barvue and Elder projects back in production and at the same time, it is working on other projects (Aldermac, Jonpol and Vendome), to increase its mineral resources inventory. A positive 43-101 feasibility study was completed in 2007 on the Abcourt-Barvue project. In addition, mill equipment was purchased. In addition, a 43-101 resource calculation was recently done for the Elder mine. To know more about Abcourt, please consult our web site and Sedar, see "Abcourt Mines Inc". A small location plan and longitudinal projection of the Aldermac mineralized zones are shown on our web site. A small location plan of the Elder and Tagami properties is also shown on our web site.
