Aberdeen International Appoints Michael Hoffman as a Director and Brad Boland as Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 4, 2007) - Aberdeen International Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AAB) ("Aberdeen International" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that Mike Hoffman, P.Eng., has joined the Company as a director and Brad Boland has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Hoffman is a mining engineer with more than 25 years of experience in mine operations, projects, engineering and corporate development. Mr. Hoffman has recently served in senior executive positions at Goldcorp, Desert Sun Mining and Yamana Gold. He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer at Crowflight Minerals and serves as a director of Largo Resources and Castillian Resources.

Mr. Boland is a seasoned financial professional, with a wide array of experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Boland served as Vice President, Corporate Controller of Kinross Gold Corporation, and previously held the position of Vice President, Finance of Goldcorp Inc. He is also currently the Chief Financial Officer for Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines. Mr. Boland is a CMA, and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Aberdeen also announces that Carlo Livolsi has resigned as a director of Aberdeen to pursue other business opportunities.

Aberdeen has granted an aggregate of 4.6 million options to officers, directors and consultants of the Company. These options have an exercise price of $0.80 per option exercised, a five year term and vest quarterly in eight equal installments.
