AccelRate's Energy Efficiency Proven

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 8, 2007) - AccelRate Power Systems, (TSX VENTURE:APS)(FRANKFURT:KCG) the technology leader in fast charging, and the sole manufacturer of "High-Speed" battery chargers for the motive power industry, announced today that it proved to be the most energy efficient charger in the BC Hydro Power Smart Battery Charger Efficiency Report.

The BC Hydro Power Smart report comprised of testing one conventional charger for baseline purposes against two "fast chargers" and an AccelRate "High-Speed" charger for the purpose of determining their relative energy efficiency.

The BC Hydro Power Smart test refers to the total energy efficiency of the system including the battery, rather than charger efficiency alone. When extrapolated to just charger efficiency the AccelRate charger showed energy losses three times less than the closest competitor, and thirteen times that of the conventional type charger.
