Thought Leader Imad Zoghlami, Ph.D. Accepts CTO Position

Dr. Imad Zoghlami's diverse background in sophisticated search and surveillance technologies positions him well as CTO for Eyealike.

Zoghlami managed the security, operation and response management technologies program in the real-time vision and modeling department of Siemens Corporate Research arm before joining Eyealike. While Director of Technology and Innovation for Siemens Building Technology, he developed "Siemens Surveillance platform" SBT platform for its video analytics product line. Zoghlami also created several video content analysis technologies such as automatic incident detection for tunnel monitoring, detection, tracking and crowd management for the transportation industry with applications in areas such as subway and airport security.

Prior to Siemens, Zoghlami co-created Realviz S.A., a French company that developed software for the entertainment industry, whose products are still used for some of the most advanced visual effects sequences today, in films such as Harry Potter, Troy, Minority Report, Daredevil, and numerous others. Zoghlami earned a Master of Sciences in mathematics from Ecole Polytechniques, (Paris, France), followed by a Ph.D. in computer sciences from the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis/INRIA (France) in 2000. During his Ph.D. he spent time at both Oxford University (England) and MIT (Boston, USA).

"The advanced search capabilities of the proprietary platform and potential applications far exceed those of other visual search companies in this space -- it is a great opportunity to be part of the distinguished team at Eyealike and on the cutting edge of this technology," says Zoghlami.
